The second is a visit to the historic Woolnorth property homestead and historic precinct, while driving through wonderful dairy lands of the Van Diemen’s Land (VDL) Company. Finally, a visit to the breath taking Cape Grim where we see the wonderful coastline, breathe the cleanest air in the world, and witness all the islands off the NW coast of Tasmania.

A Taste of Tarkine (3+hrs)

The two hour Woolnorth tour was very relaxed, but informative. Thanks Laura. The tour started and finished on time. At $66 per person, it was good value. The vehicle was new and comfortable. Although Laura had a very clear voice, she used sound amplification which ensured that everyone was able to hear everything that was said. An insight into the... More

The tour lasts approx. 2 hours. It incorporates a visit to a wind farm, Cape Grim and shearing sheds. Laura was an informative guide and I would recommend the tour to anyone.

This tour is a must do for visitors to the North West area of Tassie. Laura was so informative and passionate about her local area. I found out so much about the history etc and came away feeling inspired. Thanks so much Laura. The trip was a highlight for us.

We loved this 2 hour tour and Laura made it special. The tour covered the wind farm, Woolnorth property and shearing shed and Cape Grim. The scenery is spectacular but what made it really, really worthwhile is the information and stories you hear. We came away from this understanding so much more about the North West of Tasmania, including the... More

Laura was our guide and she was very informative and interesting. We did the windfarm/Cape Grim tour and getting so close to the west coast of Tasmania was amazing as was was learning more about the wind farming industry.
