On the Pula Reserve Walking Trail, come face-to-face with amazing gorillas, a pride of lions, see monkeys and cheetahs at play and feel the sand between your toes at the new Hippo Beach! Included in your admission price is a 40 minute safari tour where you will find rhinoceros, giraffes, zebras and antelopes grazing together on the picturesque savannah.

Being a handicap i don't wait for someone to take me .... I took a train to werribee station and a bus from there too werribee zoo... it was so convenient to get there as the public transport in Melbourne is the easiest for wheelchair access....i did a mistake of reaching there late i reached around 2 p.m. and place... A great day out for everyone, Couples, Groups, Children. Staff and Volunteers are friendly and very informative, easy to view animals. The bus safari was great and was up close, great for photos. As far as zoos go it's pretty great.. lots to see and open for the animals to roam around.. lots of breeding programs to save animals for extinction so five thumbs up... cool set styled areas to eat and chill.. good day 👍

This zoo were different from other zoo, with open range zoo. Just lay back in the bus and enjoy the Safari. It's like a Africa in Melbourne Highly recommended. Suit all age

We visited as grandparents with our family . Whilst the entrance fee is quite expensive you do get good value for money as there are a variety of facilities and exhibits plus educational programs for children and adults alike, The safari bus ride is a highlight as you tour the open range zoo and get quite close to a number... We stayed at the Slumber Safari at Werribee Open Range Zoo in December and thoroughly enjoyed it. Although quite expensive, it is one of those activities that you don't get to do very often. The whole concept is great. We arrived at our allotted check in time (2.45pm), parked in our private car park, checked in, allotted our tent cabin... More
