We spent several hours at Holden Arboretum today and throughly enjoyed the time there. Beautiful setting and maintained impeccably. Enjoyed the sky walk and the tower. What a view. Yep, 202 steps up. And yes, 202 back down. Well worth the climb.

This huge park is a gem, full of special plants. Be prepared to walk a long distance. Take a lot of photos. The woods.

I first went to the Arboretum about sixty years ago. It keeps getting better and better. The emergent tower and canopy walk are indeed great additions, but simply spending time on in the tranquility of the butterfly's garden is worth the drive. It should be noted that membership in the Arboretum includes admission to the Cleveland Botanical Garden.

What a relaxing, educational setting for a walk in nature!! The tower provides fantastic view above the trees! Make sure you get there more than once and in a different season to get a different view from the tower.

The Holden is best in late spring, When all the WILDFLOWERS bloom. The TRAVEL CARTS are for people with walking problems a big help. The Azelia and Rhododendron time is worth seeing. The wildflower garden is something for photographers ( close ups ). For the visitor center take your time. Written by a visitor with knee problems, that's why there... More

We are very fortunate to live 15 minutes from Holden. We have been members for several years and I take the dogs there throughout the summer and into the winter when there's not too much snow. The trails are beautifully marked and they range from easy to difficult. In the past couple of years, the introduction of the canopy walk... More

I went here in September when they had Larger Than Life Garden Gnomes. It was really neat. Gnomes were scattered throughout the land and you had to find them. There is also a butterfly garden that was nice....it is outdoors. There is a small cafeteria indoors. Overall we had a good time and the people were nice. We were probably... More

This is one of the most beautiful natural park areas in all of Ohio. It's very well maintained and the innovative exibits that are on display each year make it very worthwhile to return often.

The Arboretum has always been a wonderful place to visit but now... The Emergent Tower and the Canopy walk are not to be missed. Spectacular any season but definitely not to be missed in the fall. The panoramic view from the top of the tower with all the autumn colors is breath taking.

We wanted to do the Canopy walk and tower. But it had closed for the season the week before we were there. It was very disappointing since the weather was still beautiful. We did enjoy the trails and loved the Meditation spot. we had a bit of a hard time finding it at first but a jogger who is a... More
