This is a very simple, but awe inspiring monument. One of my favorite. Just too bad it is not in a more public area as it is isolated in an industrial area, but well worth the visit.

Nice clean park near the pipelines. You can contribute if you want or just read the reasoning behind the way the walls are made up. Takes about 10 minutes to visit. Saw a visitor center it was closed.

The Veterans Freedom Flag Memorial was well done. It showed the pride of the community. I missed my Dad so much at that moment.

You can't. The bricks make up columns which make up the largest permanent flag display in the country. Bricks are painted red white or blue depending on where they are, no names at all. It is a different kind of memorial... More
