The Columbus Washboard Company keeps up a tradition by being the last remaining washboard company in the country. Staffed by only four people (an office manager, a person at the front desk, and two workers who build the washboards), this place is a delightful place to visit. We had a wonderful 40 minute tour conducted by Lisa, one of the... More

What a fun discovery. This is the last of its kind in America and the self-guided tour of the factory floor is at once entertaining, educational and nostalgic. The staff that assembles hundreds of washboards are outgoing and happy to show you how they do their job. And the products are available at very good prices.

We decided to visit their factory and we're delighted to be offered a self tour through time into their factory! A staff of 4, including their delightful greeter from England told us their history and marketing concept! They have musical washboard, washboards for the troops and those for display and decor! All American Made parts! Truly an inspiring story and... More

Four dedicated people keep this very busy little "made in the U.S.A." company going. One of the oldest companies in the country, "pet friendly" Columbus Washboard ships their products all over the world, and is still basically using the original equipment. It was quite interesting and great to see people who really enjoyed their work.

A look back into days gone by. A product that is still made by hand in the U.S.A. Something that my grandmother's used and it still has a place today. The tour was very informative and interesting.

A little bit of history at the only United States Washboard Factory! I found it extremely interesting to learn the different types of washboards and their purposes! For example, near salt water you need a glass washboard because the metal ones will rust! Also, they send washboards in care packages to our soldiers! Love!

Had wanted to stop by on previous visits to area but didn't have time. Really glad we stopped on this visit. Tour is self guided and doesn't take long. One of the ladies working took time to assemble a washboard for us and explain the process. Was surprised our teenage boys seemed to enjoy the visit as well. They have... More

What a great stop in Logan. It was so interesting to see the modern and historical machines being used for a handmade product. They only have 4 employees and the 3 we met were so friendly and nice. There was a lot of info given on the tour. They support our troops by offering a washboard kit for those serving... More

We stopped in this little factory in Logan after hiking in Hocking Hills. We were too late for the tour of the factory, but were allowed to go back and walk around by ourselves. The man we spoke with was from London and he was very informative, friendly and accommodating. Worth the stop!!
