Where do I begin? I have grown up coming to Mohican. I can honestly say that I didn't appreciate it as much then as I do as an adult. I LOVE it here. I find myself here. It is like my second home. It is beautiful and diverse, and almost magical. A great place to connect with nature, and with... More

This review is for the cottages in the park. We have been coming here for more than 30 years. We always get several cabins for a weekend in March. This year they completely remodeled them! While they look really nice, many of the conveniences are now missing. CONS: No more vanity nooks in the bedrooms. This was a big plus... More

I live here. It's a beautiful area and the forest is a unique ecosystem of a combination of northern forests and southern forests. Great birding, several rivers to kayak and canoe, nice places to camp, and beautiful trails to hike/run and mountain bike. The cross country skiing and snowshoeing is great in the winter when there's enough snow. Downhill skiing... More

We hiked the trail, up to Lyons Falls, and watched the eagles all along the river near the trail! Would definitely recommend this!

I came here in winter for the hiking since I was craving being outdoors despite the weather. They have several hiking trails, most 2 miles and under, but we chose to do the Lyons Falls Trail all the way to Pleasant Dam. Total we covered 2.8 miles. It was a nice hike and peaceful since there is nobody on the... More

I've gone to Mohican state Park since I was a child, there is plenty of trails, 2 waterfalls, lock-out spots, and brave people can climb the fire tower. It is a beautiful scenic drive or hike for people of all ages.

This is a nice gem of a park in upper central Ohio. Don't believe people telling you Ohio is all flat, this place has gorges, hills, lakes, a pretty river and more. It is very family friendly, and a big plus is you can take your dog (leashed, under control, and clean up afterward!). Great for a day trip, but... More

I was really happy with the park overall. Hiking right in the park and other trails close by. I had my choice of campsites for 4 days but couldn't extend my stay past Thursday because of their Halloween camp out.I would have loved to stay,if the park left a few sites open for the weekend for walk-in. I also would... More
