Located in Madison, Ohio about an hour east of Cleveland, Debonne Vineyards is now the largest estate winery in Ohio, boasting over 175 acres of vines. Debonne Vineyards central location in the Grand River Valley wine region benefits from a climate moderated by the thermal effects of eastern Lake Erie. Our family commitment to excellence begins in the vineyards and is reflected in the quality of our premium Debonne Vineyards varietals and the original Chalet Debonne blends. Debonne Vineyards is also the first Ohio winery to open up a micro-brewery, Cellar Rats Brewery.

The atmosphere is great, service is very good, but the wines are below average at best. I usually get the craft brews instead of wine when I come.

Stopped with friends recently for a bottle of wine and dinner. Wine was very good and food was delicious. Only minor issue is the fact that they use plastic plates. I vaguely remember this from a previous visit but it is still a bit of...More

We've been coming here for over 25 years, and see the place grow considerably in size and amenities -- as well as greatly broaden their wine selection! There are now at least a half dozen wineries in the Madison/Ashtabula area, so you can do a...More

Visited for the Ice Wine Festival. Didn't sample the wine as it is cash only at the pavilion entrance. I didn't have cash and wasn't about to use the atm. Very crowded and hard to park.

Great staff, great owners, great food and wine! Stopped in on a Saturday and there was entertainment and activity! This place is best in the summer but it was very nice to spend the afternoon there this past weekend!

We were at Debonne on a cold, snowy day and had the best time. There was a fire going, which created a cozy atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Out of all the wineries we visited, Debonne had the best staff! I enjoyed...More

Great winery since 1973. An Ohio century farm. Fabulous award winning wines and craft beer in a tranquil setting. Food is great and events often.
