We had a cloudless blue sky under which to explore the grounds and shore around the lighthouse. The park is a beautiful backdrop for the lighthouse and made for some beautiful pictures. The visit was completed when we saw two bald eagles fishing from a shoreline tree.

Very large picnic grounds with beautiful views all around. The tour to the top gives good views of the islands.

Saw this on a list of the top 17 things to do in Ohio - would agree that this should be on your "must do list" if you are anywhere in the area! Visited in winter and the views, quite simply, were spectacular ... the icy lake, the islands nearby and Cedar Point are all things you can see on... More

We live near the Marblehead peninsula & ❤️ to visit Marblehead Light all seasons of the year. We've gone past by boat, have climbed the stairs to the top for the surrounding view when it's open for visitors, have picnicked in the park & have walked on the ice surrounding it in winter. Great place for a family & friend... More

Marblehead Lighthouse is beautiful and a visit is usually tranquil and serene. It has a small picnic, park area. It is open in the summer months for tours but decorated for Christmas or at night under the stars it is a beauty any time of the year. When the lake is frozen, it is particularly beautiful

The Marblehead Lighthouse is a beautiful place to walk around and view the lake. If you go when it is open you can climb to the top for spectacular views of the lake, islands and Cedar Point. you can also just sit and relax by the water, have a picnic, or people watch. Dogs are welcome there, also. There are... More

My husband and I visited the Marblehead Lighthouse on a Sunday afternoon. We are on a mission to see as many of the Great Lakes' lighthouses as possible. The Lighthouse and the surrounding area are one of our favorite places to visit. The rocks are fun to climb on and it is enjoyable to just sit and watch the waves... More

I come here often to see the lighthouse. Not much to do usually, but it's a nice area to photograph or picnic with families. Museum with history of museum nearby but check ahead of time for hours. Sometimes you can pay $3 to go up the stairs to see the view from the top. Local buses come here with elder... More

Great place and had my wedding here in 2014. Has a great view across the bay of cedar point, I mostly go for the cedar point fireworks on the 4th of July. A must see when up this way!

On our way from Cleveland, Oh to Ann Arbor, Mi and (as we had plenty of time and it was a beautiful day) took a detour to Marblehead. The Lighthouse wasn't open, but it was decorated for Christmas (in reds & greens) and looked amazing against the blue November sky. Definitely worth a visit and take some sandwiches and drinks...
