My family loves sidecut for us it's great because it's located here in our town! The park has two sides the river side an the inland side, the sledding hill with fire pits is great in the winter an the river side is a cool spot for taking photos an doing a little fishing. They also have recently added canoe... More

This is a great park to walk the trails and see several different types of animals as well as birds. The walkways are well maintained and it clean. It even makes for a nice drive or bike ride.

The Toledo Area Metroparks are the best and Side Cut proves it. Great for hiking or biking with a new paved trail, picnicking, playing with the kids or just looking at nature. There are locks from the old Erie Canal, the scenic Maumee river and ponds to enjoy. They're also offering lessons in archery in the summer and fall. Benches... More

On Tuesday after work I decided to go for a walk in the neighborhood and did 4 miles there and in Side-Cut too. I saw 32 deer on the first mile of the tow-path and 4 more later. It was unseasonably warm, so I had a great walk. I finished at dusk.

This is a wonderful park with awesome terrain and views. You will never come to this park and not see deer. Short and long trails. Mostly flat and easy to walk. Some areas are hilly but only about a mile radius. The hilly part is beautiful, with a charming gazabo and access to a small stream. There are fire pits... More

This park is literally infested with deer! We saw so many we lost count. We even got to see one cross over to an island. The people didn't bother them and they didn't bother the people. They were probably smart not to wander too far away from a protected area during hunting season. There were a lot of people walking... More

Several walking trails will take you to different areas of interest. Walk along the Miami and Erie canal, walk out to Fallen Timbets battlefield, or stroll along the Maumee river. Lots of wildlife to see. A nice picnic place and a great playground for kids. Also see 3 remaining canal locks.

Beautiful landscape, lots of interesting things to look at a perfect place for a hike. Took both dogs there and was able to get through a good 3+ mile walk. I love the water falls and features. Definitely worth the trip
