If you are in the area and interested in aviation, history, the Wright brothers, or mechanics this is the place for you. They have an actual recreated Wright B Flyer that you can take a ride in for the cost of membership which is $100. Otherwise you can just visit to see the aircraft and the volunteers working on it.... More

I had a spare hour but when I turned up I noticed it would be closed in less than 30 minutes. Anyway, it was free entrance so I thought why not. I entered and the staff - I assume all volunteers were extremely helpful and kind. I had a good look round and took a few photos. All aviation enthusiast... More

This museum is a treat! The folks that worked shared a lot of historical and technical knowledge. It's not a big museum so you can take this in and go on to other adventures. The only downside to this museum is the hoursw of operation are limited. The entrance price is very economical though

I visited this place with bunch of friends. This was one of my best trip to any museum. All different kinds of air-crafts are available and additionally there are air baloons and space crafts as well.

We toured the new fourth hangar with Presidential airplanes and experimental aircraft - including a flying saucer. I was surprised at how small the early sidential planes were. The facilities are very, very clean. The volunteers who staff the museum are very, very friendly and helpful. Many of them shared stories about the planes and about their experiences. We've visited... More

This is just a fantastic museum. You must visit and take in all the exhibits, and history of flight. Allow a couple of hours to view and read up on the history of each plane and other exhibits.

Who wouldn't love to get a sense of the thrill the Wright brothers must have experienced when they flew in one of the latter versions of their flyers? Here, at this gem of a place in Dayton, you can do just that. You can take a minute or so flight on a well-maintained Wight B flyer with an experienced pilot.... More

The little museum, 5 minutes from Downtown Dayton, is interesting-- but the amazing, once-in-a-lifetime experience is a ride on the reproduction 1911 Wright "B" flyer-- the first mass-produced airplane. It's a biplane with no cockpit or windscreen. You sit in the open air (safely strapped in) beside the expert pilot, and the crew puts goggles and earphones (so you can... More
