Beautiful house! Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic volunteers. We went for one of their teas. Fantastic! Wonderful food served on real antique dishes. Must have at least 12 or 15 people. It's worth finding a few strangers to come along to get the minimum.

My husband and I took our girls here during a time the city was offering free admission. I honestly feel once you have seen it, there is no point in returning. It is neat reading some of the facts and seeing some of the antiques they have on display. The house itself is more museum than preservation of the time... More

Saw this yesterday. My granddaughter had learned about it in school & she wanted to see it. (She is 9.) It was a wonderful guided tour, full of anecdotes of days gone by. We were there for over an hour, & the tour guide held our attention nicely. I highly recommend this, especially now, as it is decorated for Christmas.

This is a "must see". The people who work there are very knowledgeable. It was a place where the city people came in the summer to get away from the smell of the pigs in the city.

Take a tour of this lovely old mansion. Perhaps book afternoon tea if you have a group! Rich in history ca. 1865. I have visited Promont many times.

I wanted to get married here because it's so pretty but not your fussy Victorian. If you're into local history, this is the place to go for Milford. A ghost hunters' tour is available in October, pricey but a unique experience.

This beautiful historic home is often overlooked by its local community but is truly a hidden treasure. The local historical society houses many local artifacts and preserves the home of one of Ohio's early governors. Love the hair art, climbing into the tower, and the many interesting facts the docents share. Enjoyed our private dinner and would love to attend... More

I went here with a group and we had an outstanding guide who explained the story behind the Promont House. Even though I live close to this attraction, I'd never been there and was glad to learn about the history. The gardens are nice and very peaceful.

A really nice quaint museum hinge. It's well kept and I'd say that if you're into historic hinges, you'll like this one, with its museum .
