The owner who built the Queen Ann style 28 room home was very rich and built a lavish home to satisfy his 2nd wife. They have a great video that shows the restoration of the home in a quick informative format. Next door is the Millersburg Glass Museum where you can see many examples of Millersburg Glass. Millersburg Glass was... More

I enjoyed my self-guided tour of the beautiful Victorian House in Millersburg. There is a volunteer as you enter who tells you about the home and provides a piece of paper with more info about it's history and details. After that we were free to roam, which I like. The fireplaces and painted ceilings are exquisite. We spent about 30-45... More

A group of 4 ladies attempted to visit on Feb 18, 2017, which was a beautiful, sunny day. Upon making the plan nowhere did I see dates of operation. On arrival, it's posted outside the mansion that it doesn't open until March 1. We were very disappointed.

Each year the Victorian House is closed Jan. and Feb. for a variety of reasons. First being that the winter weather months do not warrant keeping the house open to pay gas, electric etc with the few visitors we have. The second more important reason is that the house is deep cleaned from top to bottom during Feb. each year... More

We really enjoyed reading about the history of the house, and it's restoration. Very well done. This is worth an hour to stop by and tour the house.

When planning our trip to Ohio Amish Country, we missed this place. But, in Millersburg itself we saw a poster for it. We went. Stunning! The experts and volunteers who've renovated this Queen Ann revival residence have created a treasure. The tour is self-guided. Photos are allowed, so long as there's no flash. Note that not every room is a... More

Beautifully restored 28 room Victorian era home. In addition to the history and décor one might expect of such a home, there were surprises as well in the various incarnations of the home's past and exhibits of the era. The staff were pleasant and accommodating, especially on a Sunday. The museum is photo friendly. Plan on taking at least an... More
