I really wasn't sure what to expect before visiting this museum, but my family and i were very pleasantly surprised and impressed! There was a docent. She had us watch an interesting 2-3 min video about the founding of Millersburg Glass. Then she took us into a room filled with a few of the beautiful glass creations. It's hard to... More

Very educational. Learned about John Fenton, the materials used in making glassware, and how much it is worth now. Located right next to the Victorian House. Our guide was very informed.

My husband and I decided to visit the glass museum on Sunday since we knew almost everything in Amish Country was closed. We had seen in several brochures that it was open on Sunday. We walked up from downtown (fortunately a bright sunny warmish February day) only to discover that they were closed during the months of January and February.... More

Even if you are not a Millersburg Glass collector, you will enjoy this beautiful museum with the magnificent glass. Shards of glass are also on display to give the visitor a look-see into the past. A volunteer will guide you through and answer questions you may have or to share your experience with collecting. The Victorian House is located next... More

This is a Sunday-friendly museum in Amish country. We toured the Victorian House next door and the museum. If you enjoy the history and art of glass making, this is worth the time. The Guide spent two hours with me on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Parking is free. Signage could be a little better, slightly confusing. The Museum does not... More

We added this to the Victorian House tour just to help support both places, the glass is beautiful and the facts surrounding it are interesting. I would not, personally, make a special trip to this place but if you are in the area and are touring the Victorian House, go for it.

If you are there, stop but don't make it a destination spot. It is not that big and can be done in minutes.

This is possibly the largest display of Millersburg Glass anywhere. It is displayed in glass cabinets along the walls that are lighted to show the pieces . Those in the Museum are very knowledgeable about Millerburg Glass, its history and value ! A worthwhile stop when you visit Millersburg,Ohio in the heart of Amish Country !

First off, please note that the official Millersburg Glass Museum was been moved from downtown Millersburg in 2012 to its current home located by the Victorian House at 484 Wooster Road Millersburg, on the north side of downtown. This collection is fairly large with approximately 400 pieces on loan by private collectors. The Millersburg Glass Company, founded by John W.... More

the glass on display showed excellent craftsmanship. Our host was very knowledgeable about the history of Millersburg Glass. The floor space of the museum was limited and so the glass was displayed very closely together. It was a little overwhelming. I think we would have appreciated the glass a little better if the display had been more spread out and... More
