The house is open and the cost is $5. The website says there are tours on the hour. It seems you may enter and tour the house at anytime from noon until 4 PM on the first Sunday of each month (April - November) with a talk about the house in the main living area on the hour. You will... More

It was closed, but we spent quite a while checking out the house through the windows. Wish it had regular hours all year. Very interesting Usonian FLW house.

While this place is not as impressive as Falling Water, it is a beautiful, clear example of a Frank Lloyd Wright home. His style was unmistakable. After reading some reviews, I was worried about being able to locate the home, but it was very easy. We parked on the side of the street by the golf course and walked the... More

Well maintained example of Wright's residential architecture designed for the discriminating middle class taste. Much of the original furnishings are still there or have been repurchased and restored to their original use. House had been home of an Oberlin College art professor, who lovingly restored it to its original state insofar as possible, removing overpainting and other "improvements." After the... More

Enjoyed a tour of this Frank Lloyd Wright building. The curator was well-informed and gave a very interesting presentation of the home.

The google map and Tripadvisor maps will lead you to the wrong place. Use "127 Woodhaven Pl, Oberlin, Oh." in your GPS or mapping search to find the best way here. You will end up at a Cul de sac in a subdivision. The drive to the house is straight ahead, slightly left in the wooded lot. I parked in... More

If your a Wrightophile but you're not in Oberlin on one of the few days the house is open, don't worry. Like many Usonian houses, the yard facing side is all windows and you can see virtually every room from the outside. Clearly, it's better to get inside but don't let that stop you from going over there. The grounds... More

This house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright is worth visiting. You can take a tour of it every first Sunday of the month (except during the winter months) and learn about its architecture and history. Because the house is not a museum -- it is used by Oberlin college for special events or to house special guests -- you can... More

Open to the public. Must call ahead for hours. Part of the college properties, as is a whole lot of the town!

We were given a 20 minute talk about the house. Then we were allowed to wander the house as we liked. We were told that picture taking was encouraged and looking in drawers and closets was acceptable. So great to be able to do that. There was a card in each room explaining certain facts about original pieces in the... More
