It's one of the best for a good reason. All the reviews are helpful. Here are some suggestions based on my experience: - plan to spend the entire day... you can easily spend more than one day seeing all the attractions - pack a cooler...More

Spent the day at the Columbus Zoo just so I could see a real live moose and mark that off my bucket list. I thought with Jack Hannah over this zoo that it would be wonderful, but was disappointed with it. The whole thing could...More

The new Africa exhibit, it beautiful. We really enjoyed it and loved how you can get up close to the animals. Try to go early or later, it can be pretty hot and uncomfortable there.

We recently moved to Columbus and on our first visit signed up for the family membership as it seemed the most economical. That was at the end of June and we have been back at least 5 times since. I can see how if you...More

I’ve had a Columbus Zoo membership for many years. This zoo continues to get better as the years pass. Recent year additions such as Polar Frontier and Heart of Africa keep them as one of the best zoos in the county. I’ve been to the...More

This zoo is very nice, but I was disappointed because it is very difficult to take photos of many of the animals. Some areas have high wire mesh fences with no small openings for camera lenses like some zoos I have visited. Other areas are...More

It’s a great little zoo. First issue you have to pay to ride a train that takes you through park 4 min tops $2 each, seems silly. Lots of exhibits closed, must have been the time of year. Fun but the money you Java to...More

Perhaps my favorite zoo! We went on a windy day, so it was a little too cold, but that meant we got to spend more time in the aviary! Their polar bear exhibit is amazing, amazing!! They have such intricate exhibits and educational areas surrounding...More

Huge parking lot with easy access and special parking for RVs. Zoo is huge, but well laid out and easy to navigate. Plenty of restrooms and food areas to rest. Free touch ups on face painting was a nice touch. Dinosaur boat ride is good...More

As a zoo aficionado, this is one of my favorites! By far, the coolest exhibit is the kangaroo walk about. They are just feet away from you! There are also some fantastic playgrounds that my kids love.

They have a huge parking lot where an rv should have no problem day parking. But to my knowledge (and I have been over the whole lot) there are no evidence specific areas. Out near the edges should be no problem. But no... More

I stood at the entrance to the tall deck where the giraffes come up and saw very clearly people feeding them, their very long tongues wrapping around the leaves. Viicarious enjoyment for free!
