I love it when historic building finds a new use, and what better use of a round building than to house a Merry Go Round. My daughter and I had the place to ourselves on a Wednesday afternoon and we took our time wandering through...More

Make sure you wait for the guided tour so you can learn about the history of the horses. The museum isn't very large so it can get crowded quickly. The best part is at the end because you get to ride the carousel. It is...More

Well worth the time! We got to watch a craftsman work on his wood creation. Talked with Dick, a most delightful senior volunteer. Then our group of senior citizens rode the carrousel, (though climbing on the wooden animals was a challenge)!

This is a great opportunity to see all the amazing craftsmanship that went into the creation of the animals and how they came about. Talking to the volunteers and watching them work on restoring the old ones. Great family place and adults

We had a fun time learning history of wooden horses. Ghost story too. Got old ones to look at and new ones being carved

This museum is great. It has so many different animals that were on a Carrosell at one time or another. There are also places that kids can do pictures of different things in the museum with crayons. E loved this museum

Stop by this museum. You will get to see and learn about carousals that go back to the turn of the 19-20th century. Beautiful collection of carousal animals - just not horses - can watch a gentlemen carving a horse, can hear the music and...More

The museum is wheelchair accessible. I do not believe they provide wheelchairs, but recommend that you call ahead and ask.
