Was very informative and great history. The gentleman there was well versed in the history of the great lakes. Fascinating artifacts of the period. A must see.

Love all things maritime and found this museum to be quite nice. Not too large, but enough displays to keep one occupied and intrigued. Offered activities for children, which was an added plus!

We stopped here while waiting for the Segway Tour. Lots of information here on Sandusky's past. Didn't know what was involved in ice harvesting, piracy, etc, until we spent an hour here!
