Awesome. Quiet, abundant greenspace in the bustle of the suburb. Located just feet off busy Pearl Rd, this large walking garden shows an enormous variety of plants and flowers. While the space is not 'manicured' as such, it is well kept by the hard work of the young caretaker who took over for tbe older gentleman who passed away. It's... More

Went for a guided tour in May with my garden club led by Mark, the tireless and loving caretaker of this property. Many unusual plants and trees and more annuals thanks to new fencing which keep hungry deer out!

Wonderful, manageable, informal gardens that have worked on since 1949. Lovely annuals, perennials, water plants etc. the "docent" was a very hospitable young man who appears sincerely dedicated. My wife asked about the poppies and he gave her a packet of seeds!

Garden view, a nurture center in the center of the city, must see to believe. Started by one man decades ago and still a running nature center with beautiful flowers and trees.

I had read about this site in The Cleveland Plain Dealer and was curious. It's one of those places that is invisible even though it's in front of your face. The entrance is very hard to find, but trust your GPS - it's there. The main attraction is realizing that it was one individual that built this place up starting... More

I hadn’t been to Gardenview in a few years and went the other day with my mother, husband, and fourteen year old son. I was saddened to hear that the primary caretaker, since 1949, had died at the beginning of this year. The other caretaker, who has been working there for 18 years, is still toiling over the property. It... More

The gardens may have been a lovely place to visit in the past but the owner died in early 2014 and they have sadly deteriorated. Any large garden is a lot of work to tend and it appears that this garden is woefully understaffed in order to maintain it in a condition that is commensurate with charging addition. The greenhouses... More
