We loved this zoo. Sorry that it has been closed down by the state.

This was such a neat family oriented zoo where you could get up close & personal (but not Too close or Too personal) with the animals. My grandson "grew up" with "Boo Bear" and... read more

This was such a neat family oriented zoo where you could get up close & personal (but not Too close or Too personal) with the animals. My grandson "grew up" with "Boo Bear" and he entertained us for 2-3 years. So sorry that the State saw fit to close down this zoo and send these animals to other facilities. Kord... More

Loved all the animals but they are not opened because of the exotic animal laws. They had stories about all the animals and saved so many animals. It was small but close to home, and always had a good time there.

This is a very nice alternative to the Cincinnati Zoo, if you want something smaller, less expensive, and don't mind about an hour drive from Cincinnati. The black leopard is my favorite! They have a nice assortment of beautiful animals that they have rescued, and the staff is very nice. Please support them by visiting or making a donation.

My wife and I took my 2 year old grandson. He had a lot of fun feeding the animals. The admission price was reasonable and I was surprised by the number and variety of the animals. There is also a nice 'reptile house' with many snakes, turtles and lizard varieties. The staff members were very friendly and don't mind questions... More

you cant go wrong, what an amazing place to see animals you normally wouldnt see. Cord takes huge pride in insuring these animals are well cared for and the community comes together to make sure in the off season they get whats needed

took my two toddlers to your zoo today, and I must admit, as my gps took me to what looked like a neighborhood, I grew more and more skeptical. however, do not judge a book by its cover, because I was more than pleasantly surprised!! super friendly staff, adorable, sweet animals. my boys LOVED feeding them, and petting the goats.... Found this gem while traveling through Ohio..this is a small fully licensed zoo and animal sanctuary..they provide a home for unwanted or displaced animals who cannot be returned to their natural habitats. Several exotic animals will be found here, including bear, panther, white Bengal tiger, and an Amur leopard. Compact location, takes about an hour and a half to fully view... More

Throwing this out here-place is not "ran" by volunteers, only the owners that have the appropriate experience.

I visited on 8-25-13, and had a spectacular time. Well worth the drive! Again, like others have said, dont come here expecting a "zoo" that the government funds. This place is a rescue faciliy ran by volunteers in order to take care of rescued animals, that would have otherwise be put down. They do not breed at this facility. The... More
