This is a MUST...easy hike and the views are incredible of the washing water, waterfalls either from above or down below as you make your way along the water.

Enjoyed our visit to the preserve and found it quite relaxing! It is well kept and has very nice walking trails.

Clifton Gorge is so beautiful. We park at the John Bryan State Park and hike over to Clifton Gorge. It is hard to believe this is by Dayton. The trails are cleared. I suggest printing a map before going for your first time.

There are several trail heads that eventually go into the nature preserve since Clifton Forge is co-located to another park. Great views of the gorge with markers along the way to tell the visitor about historical spots.

Fairly open, this is not a packed park.

No, they are not allowed on the Clifton trails. This park is connected to John Bryan state park and their trails do have pet friendly trails
