The Bartlesville Area History Museum is a great place to spend an hour or two and learn about the history, not only of Bartlesville, but also of the surrounding areas. It truly is an area history museum and doesn't just cover Bartlesville. They have a great staff who are always glad to help with any questions or research and the... More

I was shocked. Wonderful displays, helpful and friendly employees are available to answer questions, and full of many different pieces of Bartlesville history. Frank Griggs, a historical photographer, greets you and tells you about the museum. His photo display shows the area and people through out the years. Native American displays of the local tribes. Phillips Petroleum Company displays. Local... More

Bartlesville Area History Museum is a wonderful treasure in our community. Displays about area history are rotated out often so you can go several times a year and see something new. The schoolroom is used for children's groups. Small lunch time speakers are scheduled at various times and their gift shop is full of books and gift items.

Helpful staff with exhibits about the Indian and Oil folks that settled and build large companies. Visitors view the exhibits at their own pace. Not a real large place.

I was visiting here for work and saw an advertisement for little chocolate boots and hats the Museum sold, so I decided to go up and visit it one day. It was during lunch on a week day so I should have expected it to be slow, but I was the only one there which made it a little awkward.... More

This museum is on the 5th floor of City Hall, right next to the Phillips 66 Museum. The staff is very friendly and the exhibits are well done. At the beginning they have a magnificent talking mannequin of the photographer who provided the pictorial history of Bartlesville.

Finally got a chance to visit this History Museum, and we were pleasantly impressed!! Wonderful photos and information on the history of Bartlesville, of which I'm from and I would recommend it to anyone, especially if you're just visiting the area! They also have a very nice gift shop with wonderful books etc. on the city. The exhibits are very... More

This is a place children love for the rides, fun, food & atmosphere. Parents love it for those reasons also, but they also love that the prices for the rides are anywhere from .25 to .50 and the drinks/food is reasonably priced. The park has been in existence since at least 1947 (one of the pictures I've seen was dated)... More
