A very informative place to stop off and see some of the history of Route 66. This was the second we dropped into, and both were excellent in different ways. This one is very polished with a variety of displays and information throughout. Easily located...More

Nostalgic fun. Took 3 granddaughters, 11-9-7, they enjoyed the “old timers” stuff! (Their words) the payphone booth, the diner, lights added excitement and made it fun They even enjoyed reading the history and asked great questions allowing us all to learn as we explored.

This small museum is packed with information and exhibits (each decade has a room). It is very clean and flows well. There is a film of The Mother Road at the end of the tour. We really enjoyed this stop and got a bunch of...More

This is one of our very favorite Route 66 Museums. The displays are replaced and updated periodically, so return visits are entertaining. Staff is mostly volunteers who are there to make your visit as pleasant as possible. Great opportunities for photo shots. Nice gift shop...More

This was recommended to us by a guide book as a "mandatory stop" along Route 66 and we couldn't agree more. The exhibits take you through time from the 30s through the late 70s and they really capture the purpose of the road as well...More

Being of a 'certain age', this museum had fond memories, meticulously maintained and displayed. A little small, but probably just right for a quick visit while you are touring the Mother Road. Friendly clerk too!

Better for history and background of Route 66 than entertaining younger kids—our 9 and 12 year old got bored. Some great little scrapbooks about the era and great info on history and progression. A little heavy on general period info rather than the road but...More

As a little fan of Route 66, this museum was an absolute must for me. It tells the story of Route 66 and has quite a few artifacts. Especially great was the Mustang in the entrance area. The movie about Route 66 is interesting. There...More

I am unsure, but as someone else stated, I am sure if your animal is a service pet, they have to allow it.
