An incredible collection of items related to trekking on Route 66. You really get a flavor of what it was like from the very early days all the way through the present. Quite a collection of memorabilia and a well stocked gift shop.

We arrived 10 mins before closing and were abruptly told to come back tomorrow. Yes they were closing, but 10 mins isn't exactly shutting down time. The lady at the desk was rude about it and sternly told me NOT to take any pictures. Where did the American hospitality go to?

Although nice to see this place was not quite what I had hoped. We were travelling the whole of the Route and were expecting more from the National Route 66 museum. We saw larger and more varied collections elsewhere but I am still glad we stopped here.

The little town of Elk City has done this one perfect. Plenty of original buildings to see and filled with items of 50+ years ago. Beautiful park to walk around in.Plenty of items to look for in the Pay Museum. Very well done.

Everyone was friendly and helpful, you need at least 90 minutes or more to see everything this is a whole block of several buildings and tons of history. Very enjoyable!

to when I was a kid and watched ROUTE 66. It has been fun over the years to go to all the route 66 stores and the actual hwy. Was not open but got to walk around!

We loved this place. There is so much to see at this one museum. Your low priced ticket gives you access to all. We ended up here for a couple of hours just exploring all. Not only can you see nostalgic route 66 exhibits but you can explore many more well preserved items from our past. Don't by pass this... More

My wife and I visited the National Route 66 Museum Complex during our LA to NYC road trip in October 2016. It is actually five museums in one, all included in x1 $5 admission fee. I'd call this amazing value, and all the parts are worth taking the time to see. If our review has assisted you, please reward us... More
