We happened onto this State Park quiet by chance. We were so glad we took the time to see it. It was an awesome drive not far from I-40 near the town of Hinton, OK. Beautiful place!

I visited this park 30 years ago. Traveling through the area, I made a return trip. This park us a hidden gem that's totally unexpected. Grab lunch in town and take a couple of hours to enjoy its seclusion and beauty.

Fantastic place to camp for the night, my wife and I had the pick of a tent site and we chose to camp right next to the rocks that give the park its name. Absolutely beautiful and very affordable camping

The hiking and rock climbing are exceptional. The city and the state have done a great job of putting together a great place to visit and have a great time. You might need advanced reservations during peak weekends, but for the most part you won't...More

A beautiful place, with interesting history - caravan trail to California 19th century use this place. Easy to find - good signs. There are hiking paths, rv and camping sites, places for picnic. Swimming pool is open at summer season.

Stayed one night tent camping. The town of Hinton was quite nice and the people were very friendly. We had an advance camp site reservation (they required 2 nights over the weekend) and stayed one night. The park is quite large and the geography is...More

Sorry, no cabins to rent. Roman Nose State Park, 40 miles north of Red Rock Canyon State Park, has a lodge, and cabins, too, I think.
