Kids had fun

Beach was fun to walk and metal detect. Didn't find anything exciting, but the kids had a good time looking at rocks and shells. Bathrooms were clean. The scenery was pretty.

We have stayed in the Choctaw and Seminole campgrounds - both of which are easily the best designed, sized and leveled RV sites we've ever camped in. The Choctaw one is so new the concrete is still bright white and I was told by the camp host it was just re-done and opened in March 2016. There are a lot... More

During the end of September I was there for a week at the resort staying in one of the cabins. On the second night a sewer cleanout overflowed into our entire 4-Plex of cabins flooding sewer waste all the way even under the bed. It took several calls to get the front desk they asked if I wanted to move... More

This state park is located on the lake and has several nice trails for walking, running and biking. It's not overly developed and if you want to bike, you need to bring your own, but it's also not too far from Muskogee, so it makes a nice day trip. Definitely a nice spot for a get out of the city... More

Drove two hours to check out this place for future getaways. To be fair, it IS the nicest place in the area that is completely surrounded by trailer trash and dirty, dilapidated towns and properties. If staying here there is absolutely no nice restaurants or places to visit in the area. Golf course looked OK. Camp grounds were sufficient but... More

The state has got so high on their camping, showers, ect. We don't camp there anymore because of the prices. If they would give tokens for the showers ( I take 7+ Grandkids) after you pay for the camping that would cut the cost down some. We now camp at the Corp. camp sites.

We camped 2 nights in the Choctaw area. Level sites, quiet area. The showers / restrooms could use more frequent cleaning ( by the way, bring a dollars worth of quarters if you like a long shower). The scenery is wonderful and hiking is nice. Recommend staying on "paved trails". The ticks will homestead on you if you are not... More

The lodge is comfortable and clean. The restaurant has great catfish and club sandwiches. Breakfast bar is reasonably priced but so-so in flavor a. I had a great western omelette. Went fishing, hiking, and horseback riding. It was just what we needed. Everyone was gracious and kind.

Beautiful with pine trees and right on Grand Lake. Fishing, camping, hiking, paddle boat rentals. Golf and tennis at the lodge as well. Can't say enough great things about it. Loved it!

Thank Cindy M
