Best museum bang for the buck that I’ve seen in a long time. While they have items from the historic west, much of the museum is paintings and works from artists specializing in western art. Very modern museum but it doesn’t detract from the message...More

This place is SO much bigger than I thought it would be. It's at least a 4 hour trip to casually walk through every exhibit. If you like to read all the signs and listen to the informational videos, etc., plan to make a day...More

Could spend hours looking at everything. We love to take family that is visiting from out of town. Worth the trip.

As much an art museum as a history museum. The art, of course is western themed. The Prix de West entries were being exhibited when I visited in July 2018 and some of the entries were really appealing. The permanent art collection is also very...More

This is one of the best museums I have ever seen. It houses a remarkable collection of Native American and non-Native American art, clothing and artifacts placing them in their historical context and giving the visitor a thorough, well-documented history of the West. Guided tours...More

We took our kids, ages 13 & 7, and they enjoyed this museum very much. We spent about 3 hours touring the place and the kids really liked the old west town the most. It was worth the time and price of admission.

From an art perspective, this museum is amazing. They have an awesome number of art exhibits that center around the southwest and the cowboy. There are some typical museum exhibits, but this is an art museum.

I haven't been here in a couple of years...so I can only imagine the place has only gotten better over the years. There is plenty to see for the entire family; to include life-size displays of the wild-life that inhibit the Oklahoma region, historical figures...More

I think $12 for adult ,$10 for seniors,$ 6 for kids. Also...check Groupon When we were there last...the museum staged a huge western artist art show. So we got to see a lot!!!
