The main attraction here is the cattle auction, not the shopping. There are a few stores--Langston's which specializes in Western clothing being the main one. There's also a saddle shop and a souvenir shop, and a shop selling bath soaps. But not much else. And Cattleman's Steakhouse is a must for lunch or dinner. Because it's a business and not... More

Great older style western stores, loved to look around, but not a lot of businesses to be look at. Might be an area that needs to be improved a bit, but overall a welcomed experience.

We have visited this place twice (2013 and 2016). Both times at the wrong time of the day. First time we had a breakfast at the Cattlemen's. We haven't seen any action here.

We always make a stop in the stockyards each time we travel to OK city. Love the shops and cattlemen for food. Make sure to visit the Native American shop, especially if you admire true American Indian products.

I was pretty disappointed with this neighborhood. There are a few shops but nothing much to see. Go only to have lunch or dinner at the Cattlemen's Cafe.

The Oklahoma National Stockyards is the last of its kind in the United States. In the late 19th century and early 20th century, nearly every major city in the U.S. had a terminal stockyard. Some of the largest included Chicago, Omaha and Ft. Worth. Only a handful lasted into the 21st century. When the yards at South St. Paul and... More

Cattlemen's steakhouse is a must do every time we visit Oklahoma. The food is remarkable, the atmosphere is a genuine midwest experience with REAL cowboys coming in to dine, and the staff has always been excellent. After an excellent meal a walk around town is a must.

We thought we would go out here has one of the districts to see. Once we drove out there, it was all of 2 streets with just a few western stores and not much else. The main attraction out there is the steakhouse. Not much to see

This is worth seeing: how baby cows are auctioned, to be fattened up, slaughtered, and eaten. Really, as a carnivore, you should go see and understand.
