We enjoyed our time at this small museum. The information about the Boy Scout Group, the early oil boom, the 1915 flood were all interesting. The staff was very nice and proud of their town.

Small museum that gives a little info on a lot of items. The first Boy Scout group in America was from Pawhuska. It is on a donation based entry.

This museum has good displays of the rich heritage of Osage County, Osage history and ranchers in the county. Pawhuska was the home of the first Boy Scout troop in America and this museum has neat sculptures depicting scouting.

We really enjoyed walking thru this museum. There were various displays of the history of the oil boom in Oklahoma. Plus a lot of western artifacts.

Nice little museum. Very interesting and informative place. Me or my friends had no idea about the first boy scout troop being started in Pawhuska but I know now!

They have some displays regarding the history of the town. We actually learned more by stopping at the Marland Home in Ponca City about the boom town of Pawhuska than we did in their museum.

This museum is a great stop to be able to look back in time and see the roots of the area. If you are into cowboys and Indians you won't be disappointed. It's a history lesion into what has made Pawhuska what it is today....More

Museum is currently adding area with new construction and will be able to exhibit more of the items it has on hand. Great historical reference to the oil field and ranching that makes up Osage County.
