The Tulsa zoo is located in the park.

One of the best places to picnic or have family reunions or meetings with large groups at no cost in the Tulsa area, but need to follow parks visiting hours.

Just saying. Get outside for a change and have a blast! The facilities here are excellent and there is plenty to enjoy.

This park is huge! It covers a good deal of land near the airport and hosts beautiful old trees and meandering roads. Lots of picnic areas and different parking areas. The area around the zoo can get busy, and traffic to the zoo can be a mess on popular zoo days. The Oxley Nature Center is also nice. Evidently the... More

I've been to so many zoos, Tulsa is my favorite! A close second has to be point defiance zoo outside of Seattle. They have beautiful animals, and some that seem rare in the US! Amazing. This is the first time I've ever seen a flamingo!

My daughter had a soccer tournament here and the fields were maintained and the bathrooms were stocked and clean.

The golf course is excellent and very reasonably priced. Best greens I have seen in a long time on a municipal golf course. Have played at private clubs that are not as well kept.

As a dad I don't get a lot of 'me' time. I had two hours to blow before I had to pick up my kids. What to do? That isn't enough time to drive out to the lake so I looked up a place close to home. Mohawk Park is always interesting. Trails and ponds. It was late summer and... More

The facilities are a little worn and they will charge you to enter when the zoo is open from spring to fall but if you can beat the zoo friends to the park then it is nice and fun for the family. Huge park!

The zoo is a must for any family. Plan about 2 hours to take in all the attractions. Make certain you purchase the train pass. However, once your get off, you will have to purchase another ticket to get back on.

Beautiful grass soccer fields. They need restroom facilities. Only provided portable bath rooms. More food and beverage options for visitors would be nice.
