We were able to visit this place for free on the first Art Walk Friday night. The museum holds so much history, and you can see the passion in every worker. I learned a lot about Woody Guthrie I didn't know.

Stopped in here for about 15 minutes. Didn't take the tour, but they were so helpful and told us so much to do in the area that we stayed an extra day and had a fabulous time! I'll be back to take the tour!

Definitely worth it for anyone interested in American history and/or traditional music. Especially enlightening was the record of the systematic persecution of Guthrie and Pete Seeger for their political beliefs. They were both brave men and worked for racial and economic justice against great odds.

Woody Guthrie is an American legend, so he deserves a museum. This one is nice, new and inexpensive, too.

A beautiful new facility in the arts district of Tulsa. So well done! Self guided exhibits on Woody's life, political views and personal belongings... instruments and writings. Side exhibits of many of those he influenced. Knowledgeable staff and well stocked memorabilia. Don't miss this stop...More

This is a new feature of Tulsa, perhaps 4 years old. We were there for a concert they were putting on that was excellent. We did not have time to go through the museum, but we will definitely make time next trip.

Coming from outside the US, I knew almost nothing about Woodie Guthrie - I just knew the song "This land" but I came away feeling moved by a deeper understanding of the effects of the dust bowl, and the prejudice against fellow countrymen as people...More

I really enjoyed my time at the Woody Guthrie Center! The small museum packs a lot of exhibits, displays, and interactives in such a small area. My wife and I greatly enjoyed learning more about Woody Guthrie and his life. I believe we spent about...More
