We visited on a wonderfully warm winter day and there were lots of people with the same idea. It was nice that our only child daughter was able to find a friend along the hike. The hiking trail is more of a path marked over some big rocks. There are lots of little hiding spots, holes to crawl through and... More

I went camping with my father and brother over the previous weekend, and stayed at the Deep Ford Campground. This area was nice with bathrooms and a shower available, but one sink did not work and there was no soap to was your hands. One thing we did not understand was the amount of traffic driving through the area all... More

Trails are very poorly marked and it is quite easy to get very very lost when the leaves cover the trails. Their signage is confusing and the maps given are not great. Beautiful terrain and rock to be seen though. Just be careful.

My family and I traveled from North Carolina to visit this state park and had a wonderful time. There are several hiking trails, a swimming pool and a lake to swim in. They have a miniature golf course and bike rentals as well. We stayed in a cabin at the park and it met our needs. We had a two... More

Robbers cave SP offers a variety of activites. We like to hike, so we hiked the ridge trail, afterwards swam in the lake. Thay also offer canoe and paddleboat rentals. We camped in the area beside the trout stream. Nice large well manicured campsite. Interesting Fall Festival in October.

We camped here in an RV for our first time on Thanksgiving weekend. The campsite was spacious, only slightly dated but nothing bad. We sort of got lucky though, there were a couple of oddball sites across from us. There are tons of activities for kids to keep entertained. We hiked the robber's cave hike, played mini golf, they played... More

Absolutely incredible. The kids loved it. My husband always told me stories about the state park and we went this fall. The trees were gorgeous, the weather was perfect. Overall, it was an incredible experience. I can't WAIT to go back. (The cave is short and sweet. You can walk through if you're small enough. But don't get it confused... More

We have visited Robbers Cave SP many times, this was our first time to camp there. We we're in whispering Pines cg in a full hook up site. The camp ground is nice and the sites are a little tight sites close together but we were just using it as a base camp. We hiked and climbed at the robbers... More
