Todd Lake is a favorite Lake Hike or Paddle, if you can portage a short distance to the lake from the Parking Lot. It is the first lake on the Cascade Lakes Highway after the turn off to Mount Bachelor. It is set in an...More

Dec 2017 hasn't been kind with it's snow but it was still a beautiful walk into the lake. It's a nice ~4 mile hike from the Mt. Bachelor ski area.

Wow - labor day monday midday - practically had the lake all to ourselves . Easy two mile hike around the lake. Great broken top view when you walk around. So nice that nobody was here - saw a few float tubes and picknickers -...More

This a beautiful spot, but it is a hot tourist spot so parking and crowds can be a problem. That said: the lake, short hike around, views of Mount Bachelor, and picnic spots are all excellent. You can swim but the water is cold! If...More

We love this easy, all-ages hike around a swimmable lake, to enjoy the meadows and view of Mt. Bachelor and see the hundreds of frogs on the far shore of the lake. Parking at trailhead but can get full on busiest days. Natl Forest land...More

This is a beautiful lake near Mount Bachelor. The drive up to the parking area is pretty rough, but worth it. The lake is a stunning portrait of a mountain lake. Be ready to get your feet wet if you walk all the way around...More

We almost drove past this lake after seeing so many other lakes along the Cascade Lakes highway. The road into the lake could use a little TLC, lots of potholes and rough patches. Once you get to the parking lot, you then hike up a...More

I have always loved Todd Lake, even when I was a small child. In the Summer time it is a hiking, fishing, paddle boarding, natural paradise. In winter, the areas around it are great for cross country skiing, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing. The lake itself is...More

If you want to hike, picnic and have great views this is a good place to have all three. You can go around the lake but if it is wet the far end can be squishy. Lovely seasonal wildflowers.

The road in to the trail head is bumpy, and your feet will get wet and muddy (truly--and not just a little), but this lake, and this hike, are awesome. My favorite activity we did on vacay. We hiked all around the lake, about 2...More

The cascade high way is closed in the winter; however, it's not far from bachelor so they may have the road open. Check online maps. Thanks :)
