The weather was not cooperating the morning we went, but do not forget to stop by this sight , regardless of weather! It's fabulous! We will return, hopefully in better weather to hike the area - looking forward to that!!

The usual exit will not get you there as the road is closed. We continued to exit 35. So glad we did

(Caution - March 18, 2017) Columbia Scenic hwy from Angel Falls Hwy 30 mudslides - We are now on I-84 East going to exit 31, supposedly you can get to Multnomah Falls from there too.

The path is always open. The shops close. We were there at before sunrise and there were other people there as well.

Depending on the snow melt, the flow of water can impact your choice of 'better.' Multnomah is taller and has better photo opps. Hiking paths are also better.

It's a little breezy on the trail as it is shaded and a little misty. We still took the short hike to the observation bridge wearing only shorts and T-shirts and were very comfortable. If you struggle with it being cooler... More
