There are some great hikes along the Coastal Trail in this park, some of them will take your breath away. Short walks or longer ones, there are some of both here. Bring your camera, binoculars and some lunch, spend a day -- great views and interesting migratory birds.

When I brought my 95 yr. old mom to the beach here, I was really happy to find the tables lining the path down to the beach. she has a hard time with long treks so it helped to sit sooner than later. Thanks it was spectacular !!

We drove along the Samuel H Boardman Scenic Corridor on our way from Port Orford, OR to Redwood CA. What a beautiful drive! A series of turn-offs with short drives to magnificent coastal views. Our first stop was Arch Rock. Great place for a quick stop and a nice walk along the trail to the view of the rock. Peaceful,... More

Unfortunately, we only had a few hours to visit this State Park,. We would have liked to spend a whole day to be able to do the whole coastal hike. Great views include ocean, cliffs, nature, birds and whales. Bring your binoculars!!

As park your car and face the ocean there is access to the OREGON COASTAL TRAIL on the right and the left. Towards the left you will come to a Y. If you take the Y to the left it will be a short and mostly level walk out to a bench that looks towards the southwest and over Lone... More

This is a series of turn offs from Hwy 101 where you can drive down the road for cliff access to a Pacific view. The Pacific Coastal trail runs through the park and you can hike a 3 mile round trip segment but water views are generally blocked by trees along the path.

The Samuel H. Boardman Scenic Corridor is beyond amazing. Cannot say enough about this scenic route and all the lookouts that are available. Each park has it's own unique view. We were fortunate enough to have time to go to most of them. What a treasure Samuel Boardman created for us all to enjoy!

I visited the Corridor (state park) one Sunday afternoon. It's totally got to be one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in Oregon. There are so many sea stacks, jagged-edged headlands, sea arches, etc. that it takes your breath away (or was it the sea wind in my face?) I skipped a lot, which was a pity; I'd have... More
