We ended up here since the Multnomah falls is closed, beautiful waterfall with lots of personality and power, the basaltic stones reminded me of a similar one in Iceland.

We pulled up and I would say within a couple hundred yards we were under the waterfall. The amount of water pushed over was amazing and the mist from the pounding water covered everything. It was something truly to behold and experience. A photo will...More

This was a great surprise since we assumed Multnomah Falls would be the most amazing falls of the day. A small parking lot sits right on the road and there was plenty of extra spaces along road. A small incline leads to a vantage point...More

These Falls are really nice and so is the hike. There are different hikes available. The most direct trail is not very far from the rest area. We visited many Falls that day, and Latourell Falls was our favorite.

The waters that falls down is a sight to behold. One can feel its water vapour when nearing it. One can take a short trek to the falls and take beautiful snaps of its breathtaking view.

This is my favorite falls of the Columbia River Gorge. Maybe because it was the first one out of the five that we saw the day we visited, but it was simply beautiful. When I have trouble falling asleep, I like to think of Latourell...More

It is the closest Falls on Columbia Gorge to Portland. It is the 3rd largest Fall in the Columbia River Gorge. The plunge is around 250 feet
