We walked our dogs in this park while recently visiting Eugene, accessing if from across the street from Autzen Stadium. Even with an event there for the day, we were able to find quick parking and within minutes were walking along a trail that still had some snow from a previous storm. We were on our way out of town... More

Alton Baker Park is a haven for all sorts of activities. The canals invite kayaking and canoeing on quiet waters fun to explore. Trails for running and biking bring in a faster crowd. Shelters can be reserved for group gatherings and picnics. Several times each summer bit events bring in hundreds of people. It's almost over-run by flocks of Canada... More

Great park to walk with your pet and friends or bike ride. See the stacked stones in the river from the bridge. Don't miss the sustainable water garden...informative and pretty.

This park provided some beautiful locations to take Senior portraits. There was a multitude of options just at the first parking lot.

One of the best parks to take an in city hike, be near the Willamette river, watch the Independence Day fireworks, pre-game for Ducks football, go to a outdoor concert, or just hang out on large grass areas. An 18 hole disc golf course (wonderfully maintained by the way) too! Good free parking except on Ducks gamedays and special events.

This is a great place for a short walk (on a flat surface, for those with walking difficulties) or a bike ride. It also has a small artificial lake and a frisbee golf area.

Alton Baker Park is right across the Willamette River from the University of Oregon campus. Autzen Stadium, home of the U of O Ducks football team is also located on the edge of this park.

We walked on Pre's Trail and the trails in Alton Baker Park. It was so nice to be in a city setting and to have these types of trails available to use. Beautiful prairie land along the river and other areas had lots of nice trees and shade. We enjoyed our walk!

What I like about Alton Baker Park is that there is a varitey of "things" and places of beauty. Some of the "things" are the coveres areas, the foot bridges, the walking paths, the solar system models, bathrooms, benches, plenty of parking, wheel chair accessibility, etc. Some of the varity of it's beauty is the view of the Willamette River... We stayed at the Residence Inn for our WSV bikeway ride. We discovered this riverside park and enjoyed stroking through and reading the Nobel Peace Prize display which featured Americans earning this award. There is also a small scale display of the planets and sun which was fun to explore.
