I wasn't really sure what to expect outside of the description that said this place displayed the geology of Oregon. Normally, the idea of looking at rocks would bore me, but this was entertaining. It had many interactive points that made learning fun. I especially enjoyed the maps and descriptions of the earthquake areas. There were interesting explanations about different... More

The museum isn't far from the Art Museum, and is located in a small park-like setting on the main campus. Though always interesting, it's particularly nice when there is a specific exhibit or talk.

I'm nerdy....I like going to museums, even at 43 I enjoying learning about the past and local history. I'm new to the area and it was cool learning new things and seeing history in person that I've actually watched in a documentary or TV shows

Some of the exhibits were being updated. But still was a great museum. Loved the owl photo exhibit and the Mount St. Helens exhibit too. Easy to walk around in. Parking lot just to the west has spots for museum visitors, get a pass when you enter the museum.

We came in with family one day, at the end of the heat wave this summer. The campus museums were having a "beat the heat" special - free admission! Just happened to run into it walking around the east campus neighborhood. What a great place! Learned about ancient fish and native birds. Highly recommended.

A small but very well organised and interesting museum to learn more about Oregon, its geology, its natural history and its attractions.

We read about it before we went so we knew that they had a beads display. This is a small museum. You will be there less than 2 hours probably. But the beads display was magnificent! Several displays that said Please Touch. And two really magnificent displays that said Please Do Not Touch, but you could still get up close... More

It is one of the museums in Oregon that I recommend to see. It is on the beautiful University of Oregon campus, which has a beautiful campus as well. A must see.

It was nice to have some hands on exhibits. Kept my girls interested, entertained and educated. The various beads across cultures and times was very interesting for my kids and their crafting spirits

Very nice, small, good activities and a great location to grad an ice cream cone after. The kids loved it but I haven't been in a while so should return soon.
