Very popular local walking, running, dogging trail east of town. Several loop trails and summit trials, so check maps before you head out. Main trail is only 1.5 miles to summit but very steep, gains 1000 ft. Many wildflowers blooming right now (end of May) along the summit trail. Watch out for poison oak, it is everywhere off trail!! Views... More

Enjoyable hike up the mountain. You should be in decent workout shape to really enjoy this walk. Lovely view at the top! Stay on the paths to avoid the poison oak.

Nice hike to a view point where you can see most of the southern Willamette Valley. Most of the main trail is well maintained gravel. A few spots are muddy but it is less than an inch or so deep. Wear shoes with traction. Its nice there is a bathroom and a water fountain to fill a bottle or two... More

While the hike all the way to the top might be challenging for some, it is well worth it! And there are lots of easier trails if you aren't up for the summit. Such a lovely natural area at almost any time of year.

we love to go to Mt pisgah for long walks by the river, or go on one of the myriad of trails on the mountain. Some days we are even brave enough to go to top of Pisgah. There are markers for names of plants and trails.

Lots of options for trails, easy to less easy nothing too challenging. Well maybe a little challenging if you have mobility issues. Very nice along the river. There is also a facility for events like weddings and company picnics. I have been there for both of those reasons and everything went smooth as butta.

I really enjoyed this hike for a number of reasons. There are several different trails you can take to the top, all are beautiful with lovely nature views. You can get away from the crowds and get grounded. There is a nice mix of sun and shade, you aren't always under tree canopy. Get outside, enjoy the beauty Oregon has... More

But it's the other little gem trails that make me come to Pisgah. I like solitude with my nature, so I prefer the surrounding area over the main hike to the top. Definitely have to make the trek at least once, though! Hurry to this lovely place before they industrialize the area surrounding the park!
