Open Saturdays 10-5 from April-mid November. Each Saturday Lane County's favorite artisans, chefs and musicians bring their creations to Saturday Market, Eugene's weekly open-air Marketplace, creating a vibrant event that nurtures local commerce and community. Founded in May of 1970, Eugene's Saturday Market is Oregon's original Saturday Market, and the oldest weekly open-air crafts festival in the United States.

Wander among the 200 booths filled with fine handcrafts, always sold by the artisans themselves. Jewelers, potters, seamstresses, candle makers, glass workers and many more bring their arts to sell. The International Food Court features seventeen food booths serving a wide array of foods prepared fresh on site, including burritos, pad thai, pizza and cheesecake. The Market Stage showcases local and regional musicians playing everything from original folk to jazz, Celtic music to rock-and-roll all day long. Lane County Farmers' Market is just across the street each Saturday. Two nearby parking structures provide plenty of free parking, and the area is fully wheelchair accessible.

This Saturday Market is not just a farmers' market: here you can find an inspiring array of locally-made goods, including pottery, woodcraft, clothing, jewelry, art, food, and body care -- and less usual items like flint-and-steel, poetry written-to-order, kaleidoscopes, and many others. Of course the exact vendors can vary a bit from week to week, so there's always something new... More

The Saturday Market in Eugene is a real slice of the 60's without having to go back to high school again. Vendors and bare-foot patrons in tie-dyed shirts and dresses sip Chai tea, eat veggie burritos, sport home-made rings and earrings, and listen to folk songs of old. A great place to buy a quirky birthday or graduation gift for... More

Nice to see people getting out, tapping their toes to the music, eatting good food and checking out the local art scene. Lot of talented people working hard.

If you like fresh, organic food and a taste of Eugene this is where you'll want to go. This outdoor market takes up two entire city blocks when in full swing during the summer. I is open in the spring but is much smaller. Local farmers and personal businesses sign up to sell their wares (both food and objects) in... More

The Saturday market in downtown Eugene has become increasingly popular over the many years. It completely covers the Park Block area and is adding new vendors each year. Our city council is planning a budget to remodel the market and to establish a real sense of place for its home base. But I like it just as it is with... More
