We wanted to play, but the Eugene courses had rain and were very saturated. Called Ocean Dunes, plenty of times available. Headed over and the course was in great shape, even though there was a little light rain. Very friendly staff! Will for sure head...More

Played Jan 1st. The course was in great shape. The fairways were firm and it appears the course drains well and the greens played true. A January day at the coast in the low 50's with just a light wind makes for a great day...More

The course is always in good shape and challenging. Living in the Springfield/Eugene area, winter is a challenge to play without mud. The sand base course drains well and is fun to play.

Living in Florence, I play here at least once a week. Hats off to the grounds crew in that the course is always in absolutely great shape winter, spring, summer, and fall, even after several days of rain. Especially nice greens. Be warned though, narrow...More

Here's what: In the last couple of years Ocean Dunes has vastly improved its fairways (lovely grass at very fsir lengths) and greens (true rolls, well repaired). But the real advantage of Ocean Dunes over the more reputed Sandpines is Ocean Dunes' perfect recognition of...More
