Best dog park in the area.

They offer both a summer and winter area. Also there's a separate fenced area for small dogs. My dog gets very excited when we go here.

This is a nice dog park with plenty of water and space to run. There are usually tennis balls laying around and the poopy bag dispenser has always been full. Watch out of course for people that bring their "anti-social/aggressive" dogs and let them go wild. I have only seen this once at Hondo with a big male German shepherd.... More

This is a great location with lots of room for a dog to run. But, after a few experiences we won't go there again. Some people just let their dogs in the enclosure and go back to their cars to text or phone, disregarding what their animals are doing. Twice, the dogs whose owners weren't monitoring them became aggressive to... More

Neither we have a dog nor we are local resident of Hillsboro or Portland. We are just dog lovers and visited this place after reading about the place on tripadvisor as tourists. Must say that it is lovely place in the sense that the area is frequented by local dog owners and one can watch lovely dogs of different breeds... More

Have enjoyed many visits with my dogs. Boston Terrier enjoys the small dog park. Alway a pleasure to see all the other types of dogs (and owners)!

We love this park and have been going here since it opened. It has a small and a large dog area, so you don't have to mix your pup if you don't want to.

Easy to find, Hondo Dog Park is split into 3 areas: one for little dogs, one for bigger dogs, and one that's all gravel (in case of rain). My Dane loves to come here and run around with other dogs, and their owners are generally friendly and outgoing. Better than some of the smaller neighborhood dog parks, where people conversation... I recently moved here, and need a place to exercise my dog now that I'm living in an apartment. This space is really nice, with a walking trail inside the large dog area. The grounds are really well-maintained. The grass areas are not available if it's been raining, or in the winter, to protect the grass. Only the smaller winter... More

I have taken my dog here a few times. The park it kept clean and the grass cut. I do like that it has separate large and small dog areas. However, the main area is super muddy when we get a little rain... and well this is Oregon. Maybe a gravel area could be added to help with the muddy... More

Multiple park sections. They've got a winter-specific area with pea gravel so that the rest of the park doesn't get ruined when its rainy and muddy. Generally pretty clean but watch where you're walking as not everybody cleans up after their dogs. Fantastic spot though.
