Very interesting place.

I have not been in there for a few years and realized I really like looking around inside. They have a counter with very tempting deserts but I held firm and tasted with my eyes.

I stopped by to check on the 2017 schedule for the Hanger. The planes are ready and the tour is in place.

This is a free museum that is run by volunteers and the items are donated. It is a piece of Hillsboro history from the time it was a town of 5000 people and evolved into 5000 people on a given street corner. The staff was friendly and will show you more if you ask and want. This is a project... More

They don't charge for this museum--it is a private collection, so it is hard to review it as a business--that charges. They are offering it to the public for free, so I can't fault anything they do. In fact, even if it were a business, I think it i would be awesome. The selection of planes is great. The gentleman... More

This was a FREE museum run by volunteers so we didn't expect much. The main hanger was small and housed only 3 planes. My son is so into planes so he had a good time. The volunteer Linda actually showed us the OTHER hanger and that had another 8 or so planes. You MUST ask for the tour or the... More

A bit disappointing in quality and display after some of the other aircraft museums in Oregon.

This museum is a lot smaller than the one in McMinnville, but most of its planes can still fly. In fact, Classic even has a Lockheed F-104G. . Besides aircraft, the museum also has a small collection of ground equipment, engines, and several ejection seats. Open Monday through Thursday from 9 to 4. Free admission.

Really more for the volunteers who restore the planes, but still cool to check-out some older planes and a few artifacts such as jet engines. Probably more entertaining to see the static and air demonstrations during the air shows they participate in each year.
