This place is absolutely amazing! Custom carvings, burl etchings, unique decorations...I could wander through this place for hours! Words cannot begin to describe the beautiful pieces they have!

Just happened to stop in here on our way to the Redwoods. Seriously magical! Full of treasures and tree houses from fantastic imaginations. I even got a bit emotional because it was so wonderful and such a surprise. Do yourselves a favor and visit.

Its a burl is a very unique and crafty woodshop. Most extraordinary most extraordinary part, if you ask me is the building itself built primarily supported by old-growth Maple Burl. It has the most bizarre roofline and funny design rooms. Where's the building and grounds are full of handmade Burl furniture and carvings. There's something for everyone's budget small hand-carved... More

This is a really neat place with some very creative woodwork. We wondered around and saw a lot of it, but the pieces for sale were way out of our price range. If I could have afforded it though there were many pieces I would have purchased. Interesting place to see for sure.

Were there Hobbits living here? Maybe Fairies? Well certainly the artist who created these buildings and tree houses had the influence of wood nymphs all around him! This third generation run artist conclave is worth a stop to admire the artistry of burl bowls, furniture and other home items. The workshops are right there as well. Rustic meandering and fascinating;... More

We drove by here in March during Spring Break and decided to go in. It was incredible. My 10-year-old son was entranced by the Swiss Family Robinson style treehouses that were all over the place. They were absolutely incredible to see. The products were really nice as well and the person who had built the place was truly friendly and... More

First thing you might notice is the purple water in the large waterfall on the street side of these shops. Then you might notice all of the fabulous tree houses, most of which you are welcome to climb. It is a steep set of sets to the 2nd floors but well worth it. In the main shop you will be... More

The place is much bigger than it looks from the road. They've got the expected array of furniture and ornaments made from burlwood. There is also a variety of raw burlwood material (much of it identified by tree species) available for sale if you want to do your own projects.
