Multiple exhibits are broken and they apologized for the heater being broken (it was likely about 55-60 degrees inside) but it wasn't a waste. It's small town history which I enjoyed reading about. I would've liked a better retail/store at the front.

It's not the Smithsonian, Chicago's Museum of Natural History or the California Academy of Sciences, but it's a great museum for a small town. Among the more unique displays is information and artifacts from the only civilians to die in the U.S. from enemy action during WWII. Out front is a wildflower garden displaying many species typically found in this... More

My husband and I came to Klamath Falls,OR from Sonoma County,CA looking for a nice little town to get away from the bigger towns. We came across "Things To Do" and stumbled upon this museum so we decided to check it out. Which was a fabulous idea! There was a really sweet woman who was working at the front desk... More

Stopped by for a look on a quiet Saturday. We paid $5 each to get in. There were probably about 8-10 other visitors at the time. The museum is located inside the old national guard armory building. A part of the old floor still exists which is cool, as well as the stage area. There is a room designated to... More

We didn´t plan to come here, but since the weather was so bad we paid it a visit and were not disappointed. There is an excellent exhibition about animals living in the region, how Indian tipis are built and a touching record of the local Indian wars.

This museum seems to be geared towards Veterans of the Vietnam War and some WWII. There is also exhibits about the Modoc and Klamath Nations but I was disappointed in how the descriptions were "dumbed down" and really did not depict how the nations lived. The mineral and rock exhibit was neat and our daughter liked the black room that... More

There was uch a diversity of things to see and learn about this area. From the Modoc wars in the 1800's, to pushing a button and guessing which animal is making the sound you hear. Great displays of historical significance and also objects that you say "My grandmother had one of those!" Well worth a visit.
