This is our second time at this beach and we went at low tide, so much better as you can see the tide pools over by the waterfall. Perfect for packing a lunch and relaxing watching the waves.

Interesting beach with surfers and people who wanted to experience the walk through the woods. A favorite of ours.

This beach is a great introduction to the PNW. walk down a trial filled with old growth forest and emerge onto a stunning beach with an active surfing community. A must if you're in the area.

Take the short hike to the beach from the parking lot at Oswald West State Park. Surfers love this spot for the waves - we like watching the surfers do what we wish we could. Kids think it's neat that this is also called "Smugglers...More
