Even though there is freeway noise, this is a well laid-out pretty campground, complete with rustic cabins, and handicapped sites. Lots of privace between sites and walking trails. Even if you don't camp, it's a nice rest and picnic spot.

Camped here with my family in our 40 foot RV. Easy access. Sites are large and most spaced far apart....more so than most parks. Showers are some of the best. 20 minutes from Pendleton. Lot of hiking and outdoor activities. Very scenic. However, literally right next to the freeway....50 to 75 yards from the 'A' loop. Road noise is quite... More

The Good: Emigrant Springs is close to the freeway and has easy access. It is great for travelers needing a place to camp overnight. The Not So Good: its close to the freeway. The truck noise was non ending through the night. We were tent camping. Those with trailers and motor homes probably didn't notice. The sites are nice and... More

Camp site and cabins are Awesome!!!! However to have one bathroom for the whole park and its a long hike from the cabin area. They should be putting in a another bathroom. What if you were handicap not a friendly park for disability.

The only reason I didn't give this campground an excellent is the traffic noise from the interstate. The campground is clean. Sites are easy to access. The campground host was nice.

The bathrooms and showers are clean. For the amount of campsites only one bathroom area can be busy. I agree with the other reviewers about the I-84 being noisy, the freeway noise was constant at all hours of the day. There are some nice short hiking trails. We saw the cabins and wondered if they still hear the freeway noise.

We rented one of the cabins at the park. It was clean and cozy. There was a small refrigerator, a heater, small table and 4 chairs inside the one-room cabin, as well as two double beds and a short single top bunk. The surprising thing to us was a propane stove top as well as a small oven on the... More

Yes....the noise from 84 isn't the most relaxing sound, but I couldn't give it a bad review. The cabin was great. Most spacious than a lot of the other state parks. THERE IS A STOVE/OVEN COMBO ON THE PATIO!!! Loved that! Large cabin site. Short trail to bathrooms/showers. Had trouble at first contacting ranger to change reservation to day before,... More

This campground is off I-84 near Meacham, OR. The campsites are nice and the restrooms and showers are very clean. The drawback is the noise from the freeway. We thought it would lessen at night but it continued all night long. There are no water activities nearby. Campground personnel are very friendly and helpful. Nice, short trails to explore.

We only stayed here one night and got in fairly late (booo), but it's a nice piney area with lots of shade. Full hookups. The camp host was very nice. Nice cabins - great place for a family reunion. The only downside is it's right on the highway, but honestly, we didn't notice too much. It didn't keep us awake... More
