There are many ways to enjoy the river - jet boats, fishings, scenic drives, hiking, you name it. There is a great drive along the river to Crater Lake and also Hwy 99 skirts the river out of Grants Pass. One of my all time favorite areas.

It's big, it's beautiful and, in places, it's wild. I love this river. There are so many places you can enjoy it: River rafting, picnicking beside it, kayaking, hiking above and beside it. So gorgeous. It is one of the reasons I moved to the Medford-Ashland area.

I fish the Rogue, drift the Rogue, take people sightseeing, wade, swim in safe areas, and and believe that this River is a national treasure. There is a wild and scenic area with access and use restrictions. plenty of boat launch ramps and even some commercial jet boat tours which are well narrated and safe.

It is an exciting river for rafting and went back several times. Prefer having my own kayak and Orange Torpedo splits up the group with a ton of guides so everyone is very safe, and gets help getting back into their kayak if it overturns. Terrific company!!!

From stories of Clark Gable fishing on the Rogue River to the big and little raft trips and jet boat trips I've had on the Rogue, this river is one of my favorites. Tons of fishing guides to be had if that is your passion and plenty of parks from Lost Creek Lake to the Pacific Ocean. A whole vacation... More

The mighty Rogue River is a very popular destination for white water rafters and all other fishing and wildlife enthusiasts. It is a beautiful stretch of water going to the Pacific Ocean and has many different types of fish that spawn each season, making the Rogue River a truly unique and sacred piece of Oregon.

The Rogue River is an excellent place to visit, raft, fish, kayak, take jet boats. Very scenic and relaxing (unless you're in rapids or in a bad way). I highly recommend Hellcate jet boats, but they are pricey, save for when family comes or a special event. Rafting is great, kayaking. Put in at Shady Cove for an all day... More

An hours drive from Medford and you can be rafting the Rogue! Soooo much fun. Word to the wise - use your life jackets (except in the super mellow parts, if you're comfortable). People drown every year. Things happen unexpectedly - we almost lost my sister last year and we are experienced.
