I recommend stopping here for the scenery and taking pictures. A great place to see Oregon outdoors. This is a very rugged and beautiful area of Oregon. Observe the safety barriers and don't be stupid. This is a safe area but people have been hurt who were foolish. After stopping here stop at the nearby Beckies restaurant. Known for their... More

Reallly neat stop on route 62 headed to Crater Lake from Shady Cove. There is a short loop trail here on the Rogue River. The "Natural Bridge" is actually a lava tube. Almost passed it by. Glad we stopped.

This is one of our stops with visitors to southern Oregon on our way to Crater Lake. It's right off HWY 62, so it doesn't take much time to stop and see this natural beauty. The newer parking lot and interpretive trail makes it more accessible for all. It is an area where the Rogue River goes through lava tubes... More

My husband and I have been here a number of times by ourselves; however, this is always on the list of things to do for our frequent out-of-town visitors. We're never taken anyone here that wasn't thrilled by the natural beauty.

We took the walk on the Natural Bridge Loop. Its a beautiful area of the Rogue River to visit. There is an information sign in the parking lot that describes the area.

Just a little over an hour south of Medford the Natural Bridge on the Rouge river can be seen from a few lookout points which is a short walk from the parking lot. The path to the Natural Bridge is paved and there are educational plaques along the way. The trails splintering off from the path follow the river upstream... More

This is one of the classic views in Oregon. It is worth your time and people of all physical abilities can take this in.

If you've got kids, then this is an easy education addition to your trip. Regardless, it's a very short hike with a fantastic return. The river is spectacular and it's so cool to see how the river disspaears through the lava tubes and reemerges. Lots of good photo opportunities and well worth a 30 min detour from your Crater Lake... More

A great short hike to see the rogue river dive underground into a lava tube and emerge 200-300 feet away at the other end.

Here is a great way to see nature with an easy hike near the river. Beautiful fall foliage. Fresh air and natural wonders. Suitable for younger and older folks we wouldn't do well on a lengthy hike.
