This lake has a rich history of being a great trout lake. Had a rough few years but is now coming back strong. This lake is surrounded by some of the best scenery that Oregon has to offer. Plan ahead for this trip as it is somewhat remote by todays standard. Definitely worth visiting.

Greetings. I am a Valley local that has been visiting Diamond lake since the late 60s. I have seen many come and go over the years. But having mother nature remain @ the same, is always like going home. To present date. The boat rentals remain reasonable priced, to take yourself out for a day of fishing. And the studios,... This was our 3rd or 4th visit to Diamond Lake and again, we are always taken aback by the beauty of the region. This, however, was our first time during winter in the snow. Breathtaking! If it gets too cold, just go inside the lodge, sit by the fire and enjoy a nice Stout. This should be on everyone's bucket... More

This is one of my favorite places to bring the family. Great fishing, camping, beaches. A beautiful paved bike path around the lake. Book early

We've enjoyed going to Diamond Lake. We have stayed at the resort overnight. We have gone boating and fishing. There are places by the lake for picnics. Diamond Lake is close to Crater Lake National Park.

A group I ride motorcycle has annual trips to Crater Lake where we take other bikers that have never been there and we always take the whole group to Diamond Lake for lunch. Good food and very friendly.

Lake of the woods is so close to Medford but still feels like you have gone on vacation. My kids and I have stayed overnight here, camped, gone on day hikes and just come up for lunch. Great atmosphere and lots to enjoy!
