We spent two hours exploring the trails and historical structures in the park. Well worth the $5 parking pass.

Great location for RV camping, sites are a good size, bathrooms available and clean, was quiet when we stayed (early October), would stay again.

The website for the park is unclear, do the yurts and cabins have electricity/heating? We're thinking about going during the Thanksgiving holiday.

I'm going to say probably. We have never been in them at Champoeg but all the other parks that we have hosted and cleaned yurts/cabin do have elec/heating. Since they are open year round that is a good indication they do... More

I would stay in a yurt or cabin. Tons of rain this year.
